The Atlanta Area Chevy Dealers Advertising Association, called "Georgia's Best Chevy Dealers," (which our own Jim Ellis Chevrolet General Manager, Mark Frost, serves as a Board Member) is sponsoring a food drive along with AutoTrader.

"Several years ago, the Board made a decision to be more involved in community and charitable events," says Frost, "with the economy the way it is now, the need is greater than ever."

1 in 6 Americans don't get enough food to eat every day. The Atlanta Community Food Bank tries to help our local communities, friends and neighbors.  Right now, AutoTrader and Atlanta area Chevrolet dealerships are teaming up with the Atlanta Braves for the "Drive Away Hunger" Food Drive.

Starting today, August 30th, through Saturday September 11th, if you bring canned food to Jim Ellis Chevrolet.  For every 10 cans you donate, you'll receive a voucher for a free ticket to the Braves vs. Nationals game on September 14 (while supplies last).

While you're here, test drive a new Chevrolet and AutoTrader.com will make a $10 donation to the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Plus, you'll qualify for a chance to win a Braves VIP experience, including a luxury suite for you and 15 guests.

"During a time when many food banks are struggling to keep up with increasing demands for food assistance, we discovered this great opportunity to bring our partners together to do something on a local level for our community," said director of community relations Michele Blondheim.
