We're proud to be sponsoring the Air Show and car show at Dekalb Peachtree airport on June 5th. In addition to offering food and refreshments to benefit Angel Flight in our Hospitality tent, we will also have Jim Ellis's hottest cars on site for you to check out! The cars that will be in the "SuperCar corral" include:
- Porsche Panamera - We will have the fabulous new four door Porsche Panamera on display. It seats four six foot plus adults in the lap of luxury, and with the performance one expects from a genuine Porsche. The 400 horsepower V8 engine in the Panamera S and 4S have zero to 60 mph times of 5.2 and 4.8 seconds, respectively, and a top track speed of 175mph! The Panamera Turbo jumps to 500 horsepower and a 188mph top speed. Typically Porsche.
- Corvette ZR1 - The 2010 Corvette ZR1 is the fastest, best performing of all Corvettes ever produced dating back to 1953. Boasting 638 horsepower, this iconic muscle car exemplifies the pinnacle of American engineering; a car that competes head to head with the best the world has to offer, some costing more than twice the price. Made of aluminum, magnesium, and carbon fiber, the ZR1's power to weight ratio contributes to it's amazing capabilities on the track. With the uncertainties in today's world, this may be a memorable opportunity to witness something that may unfortunately not be around too long.
- R8 - The 2010 Audi R8 V10 that will be at the show is an Ibis White 6-speed manual with carbon fiber exterior trim, carbon fiber interior inlays, carbon fiber side mirrors and 19" titanium finish wheels. This car, so similar to the one Tony Stark drives in IronMan 2, gets 525 HP, with a top speed of 196 mph.
Outside of the Supercar corral, the hottest models from all of our Chamblee stores will be present and accounted for - from the brand-new Buick Regal to the Saab 9-3 Aero convertible.
Oh, and keep an eye out for the Jim Ellis banner to appear somewhere in the sky during the show!
