Wheego LiFe to Visit NADA While They Wait For DOT Blessing

The Wheego LiFe will make an appearance at the NADA conference in San Francisco in early February while it waits for the final blessing from the Department of Transportation.  While it has already received approval from the California Air Resources Board and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), it wants that last thumbs up before it releases its widely anticipated LiFe model on the streets of the U.S..

Once the Wheego LiFe receives its approval, it will be sent to 32 dealers including Jim Ellis Wheego in Atlanta.  The car will come with a price point of $32,995 which doesn't include any government tax credits it will receive.  It can top out at 65 miles per hour and will be available in 5 colors.  Wheego Electric Cars Inc in Atlanta announced that they had already received 500 pre-orders and they are hoping that the appearance at NADA will not only draw more attention to the vehicle (which already has considerable buzz), but also more pre-orders.

Individuals wishing to take a test drive can visit Jim Ellis Wheego in Atlanta located just inside the perimeter on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.  Wheego drivers that already own the Wheego Whip can trade in their vehicles to upgrade to the new Wheego LiFe and receive 50% of the purchase price towards the new offering.  More details are available at http://www.jimelliswheego.com/new-inventory/wheego-life-fsv.htm.
