MAZDASPEED Motorsports Keeps Winning

For many years, Mazda has made it clear that on any given weekend, it has more cars being used in races than any other make. July was a perfect example of that fact as Mazda walked away with two wins on two different coasts along with 6 podium wins.

On the morning of Saturday July 9th,  Mazda has a one-two finish at the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge ST class at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with the Freedom AutoSport Mazda MX-5 followed by their team mates in second.  That win alone gave Mazda a 6 point lead in the manufacturers' championship battle with two races remaining.

Then on the same day across the country at Lime Rock Park, Chris Dyson and Guy Smith drove their Dyson Racing Lola-Mazda MZR-R to their first win of the 2011 season.  Then the afternoon concluded at Mazda Raceway with the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series with a pair of Mazda RX-8's on the GT podium.

This just goes to show that Mazda is truly a force to be reckoned with and that you should head to your Atlanta Mazda dealer and find out what zoom zoom really feels like. You can see more details on the races here!
