10th Annual Jim Ellis Charity Golf Tournament Scores a Hole in One!

  Two hundred sixty-two golfers met at Chateau Élan Golf Course on Sunday August 29, for a sunny day of golf, prizes and fun. 

For the tenth year in a row, Jim Ellis Automotive Group organized the tournament to raise money for local children's charities.

This was a record-setting year in terms of sponsorships!  The golf tournament had a total of seven Platinum sponsors, six Gold-level sponsors and twenty Silver sponsors!

Did you know?  Motor vehicle injuries are the leading cause of death among children ages 0 - 14 in the U.S., according to the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control of the CDC.

Child restraint systems are often used incorrectly. One study by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), found that 72% of nearly 3,500 observed car and booster seats were misused in a way that could be expected to increase a child's risk of injury during a crash.
