For a 2nd year in a row, Jim Ellis Buick GMC Mall of Georgia campaigned to support to The General Motors Foundation Scholarship program - Buick Achievers throughout area high schools. This program recognizes and awards 1,100 college-bound high school seniors and current undergrads nationwide who excel both in the classroom and community.

Jim Ellis Buick GMC Mall of Georgia celebrated their groundbreaking ceremony at 3600 Buford Drive on August 15th of this year. In preparation for its new and larger state-of-the-art 55,000 square foot facility, they acquired a 12 acre property just east of 985 and West of the Mall of Georgia, better known as 'Dealer Row' - the hub of all shopping destinations in North Georgia.

On Wednesday, August 15, 2012, Jim Ellis Buick GMC Mall of Georgia in Buford, GA will have the official groundbreaking that will start the creation of the brand new 55,000 square foot facility set on 12 acres that will open in mid-2013.

Jim Ellis Chevrolet Wins Dealer Of The Year Award

For the first time, Jim Ellis Chevrolet has been awarded the Dealer Of The Year by the Global Headquarters of General Motors. The honor is reserved for the top 2% of Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers in the Southeastern region which puts Jim Ellis Chevy in the top 10 Chevrolet dealers in the Southeast. The presentation of this sought after award will take place in Detroit, Michigan in early May.

AAA Top Commuter Car Picks

Last week, AAA released their top picks for commuters.  This is especially important in Atlanta, since we have more commuters driving longer distances than almost every other city in the nation.
