Turning fifty is a remarkable milestone, a monumental feat, and all the cause for a big celebration! This year marked Jim Ellis Automotive Group’s 50th anniversary in business since opening the doors to our first Volkswagen dealership located in the heart of Chamblee. We couldn’t have been more excited to commemorate all that Jim Ellis Automotive Group has accomplished with the help of our customers, employees and friends.
To celebrate the anniversary and honor our history as a family-owned company, our dealerships hosted either a fun-filled lunch or dinner accompanied with an award ceremony recognizing several employees who had gone above and beyond to ensure a dealership experience like no other.
Historically, we have highlighted these top-notch employees during our annual Kick-Off Breakfast but due to the lingering Covid-19 restrictions, we had to pivot our plans and make room for a new way of celebration.
To ring in the spirit of celebration, our dealerships were fully decked out with beautiful arches and clusters of balloons put together by the team at Balloons Over Atlanta. And we all know the party isn’t complete without delectable fare, so our guests and employees were treated to delicious hot meals catered by the outstanding team at Proof of the Pudding. Finally, to satisfy attendees’ sweet tooth, Cookies by Design Marietta created automotive-themed cookie bouquets that were all handmade and hand drawn.
Our wonderful customers also got their hands in on the celebration. During the celebration window, Jim Ellis Automotive gave away $500 gift vouchers to every customer that made a pre-owned or new vehicle purchase at any Jim Ellis dealership - our way of showing appreciation to those who have contributed to the success of our company.
