We are truly excited to recognize Charlie Avery as the February 2024 Jim Ellis Client Champion! Charlie is a customer experience manager at Genesis of Atlanta. Charlie was nominated by Service Manager Kevin Whiteside.
 
The Jim Ellis Client Champion award has been presented monthly since 2014 to a Jim Ellis team member who goes above and beyond to deliver the Jim Ellis Promise to one of our guests. With more than 1,700 team members in the organization, only a small percentage of team members each year receive this honor. 
 
Here is the story behind why Charlie was nominated as the monthly Client Champion:
 
A client and her young son entered the dealership to get her vehicle serviced. As the young boy stared through the glass wall leading into the shop where cars were being worked on, he expressed interest in becoming a technician one day. Charlie took it upon herself to explain all that a technician does on a daily basis and go over how the different tools work. She even took the time to introduce him to the technicians working that day! It made the young boy’s day to learn more about all that goes on in an automotive service department. We are thrilled to have someone as compassionate and encouraging as Charlie on our team.
