
We are truly excited to recognize Ra’jon Ellis as the May 2024 Jim Ellis Client Champion! Ra’jon is a technician at Jim Ellis Chevrolet. Ra’jon was nominated by Service Manager Jason Blanchard.
The Jim Ellis Client Champion award has been presented monthly since 2014 to a Jim Ellis team member who goes above and beyond to deliver the Jim Ellis Promise to one of our guests. With more than 1,700 team members in the organization, only a small percentage of team members each year receive this honor.
Here is the story behind why Ra’jon was nominated as the monthly Client Champion:
When a customer’s vehicle had broken down in front of the dealership, she approached Ra’jon for help, stating that her Chrysler had shut off on Peachtree Boulevard with her children inside. She asked Ra’jon for steering wheel fluid, suspecting the cause of her vehicle’s failure was due to not having enough of the fluid. Wanting to help accurately diagnose the issue, Ra’jon offered to take a look at the vehicle to confirm if that was the cause. After thoroughly inspecting the vehicle, Ra’jon found it actually had a broken belt that caused the engine to shut off. The customer took an Uber to a nearby parts store to buy a new belt and upon arriving back at the dealership, Ra’jon installed it for her. After successfully installing the belt, the customer and her children were back on the road in no time.
