For over two decades, Jim Ellis Automotive Group has proudly hosted an annual golf tournament to give back to the community. The 2024 Jim Ellis Charity Golf Tournament took place on August 25 at the Chateau Elan Golf Club. The day featured a lively golf tournament, delicious food, a silent auction, exciting prizes, and more. Approximately 300 golfers, 25 vendor volunteers and 30 employee volunteers joined in to make the event a success.
What began as a company family picnic and golf outing over 20 years ago has evolved into an impactful fundraiser, generating over $100,000 annually to benefit local charities. Following the tournament, Jim Ellis Automotive Group employees have the unique opportunity to nominate local charities they wish to see supported with the funds raised. While the primary focus is on organizations that serve women and children, all nominated charities are thoughtfully considered for funding.
We are thrilled to announce that this year’s tournament raised an impressive $119,000, marking another incredible milestone for the event. After careful review of the nominations, the Golf Tournament Committee selected 24 deserving charities across the Atlanta area to receive donations. These funds were distributed during the holiday season to make a meaningful impact in our community.
