Neil is a valued member of the sales team at Jim Ellis Toyota of McDonough, and he was nominated for this award in recognition of his heartfelt leadership, community spirit, and unwavering commitment to making a difference beyond the showroom floor.
Since 2014, the Jim Ellis Client Champion award has been presented monthly to a team member who exemplifies what it means to deliver the Jim Ellis Promise. With more than 1,700 team members across the organization, being selected as a Client Champion is a true testament to an individual’s character, compassion, and dedication to service.
Here’s the story that led to Neil’s nomination:
When the annual Relay for Life cancer walk came around, Neil saw an opportunity to do something deeply meaningful — not just for the dealership, but for the community. Taking the initiative on his own, he organized a company-sponsored tent at the event, proudly representing Jim Ellis Automotive Group among those walking in honor of cancer survivors, caregivers, and loved ones lost.
What made Neil’s contribution so impactful wasn’t just the setup or presence, it was the spirit he brought to the event. He rallied fellow employees to show up not just as dealership staff, but as neighbors. He created a welcoming space where attendees could share stories, find comfort, and feel supported. For those walking that day, Neil ensured our presence was felt, not just seen.
As Finance Manager Lacy Rubin, who nominated Neil, shared:
