November 2025 Client Champion: Mike Michael

We are proud to recognize Mike Michael as the November 2025 Jim Ellis Client Champion! Mike is a Service Porter at Jim Ellis Alfa Romeo and Jim Ellis Maserati, and he was nominated for this award in recognition of his kindness, compassion and thoughtfulness to fulfil a young man's dream.

Since 2014, the Jim Ellis Client Champion award has been presented monthly to a team member who exemplifies what it means to deliver the Jim Ellis Promise. With more than 1,700 team members across the organization, being selected as a Client Champion is a true testament to an individual’s character, compassion, and dedication to service.

Here’s the story that led to Mike’s nomination:

When Kane, a young man who was preparing for brain surgery, was feeling scared, his grandfather asked him what he wanted to do most before the operation to settle his nerves. Kane’s answer was simple: he wanted to ride in a Corvette.

Thanks to the kindness of a long-time family friend Mike Michael and the support of the Jim Ellis family, that dream came true. Mike surprised Kane with a visit and took him for a spin in a sleek Corvette, giving him a day he’ll never forget.

“In my life of 72 years, I have learned that it’s the little things sometimes that mean the most and really last a lifetime. I won’t forget what the Jim Ellis family did for my grandson and his family and not for profit or fame but because it was a good and thoughtful thing to do for someone that needed a smile,” said Kane’s grandfather.

We’re happy to share that Kane’s surgery at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta went very well. He’s now on the road to recovery, working hard in therapy and staying strong with the love and support of his family.

Mike’s actions perfectly reflect the spirit of the Jim Ellis Promise. His generosity gave a young man an amazing memory when he needed it most. This beautiful act helped a family have hope and happiness in a scary moment. Allowing for a remarkable moment of community and humanity, which reflects the true meaning of the Jim Ellis Legacy.
