We are proud to recognize Logan Platt as the October 2025 Jim Ellis Client Champion! Logan is an Inventory Manager at Porsche Atlanta Northeast, and he was nominated for this award in recognition of his quick thinking and compassion in help a person in need.
Since 2014, the Jim Ellis Client Champion award has been presented monthly to a team member who exemplifies what it means to deliver the Jim Ellis Promise. With more than 1,700 team members across the organization, being selected as a Client Champion is a true testament to an individual’s character, compassion, and dedication to service.
Here’s the story that led to Logan’s nomination:
While helping out the parts department at Porsche Atlanta Perimeter, Logan heard a woman calling out for help. She had pulled into the parking lot after experiencing a medical emergency. When Logan ran up to the vehicle he discovered the woman’s blood sugar had drastically dropped which was causing her hands and arms to freeze up. Logan immediately jumped into action, feeding her the Gatorade she luckily had in the car. After drinking, she was able to regain function of her body. Logan used the woman’s phone to call her husband. When he arrived to pick up his wife, Logan agreed to let the woman utilize a parking space to ensure her car would be safe when they returned for it later.
The individual was not a customer. She was not there to buy a car or to service her vehicle. She was simply a person in need, and Logan acted swiftly in the nick of time!
Logan’s actions perfectly reflect the spirit of the Jim Ellis Promise. He heard a person in danger and without hesitation dove in to help, providing care and urgency when someone needed it most. By immediately reacting — even when he did not initially know the severity of the situation — he demonstrated remarkable kindness and bravery. This selfless act turned a scary medical situation into a moment of community and humanity, adding onto the true meaning of the Jim Ellis Legacy.
