
We are proud to recognize John Holland as the September 2025 Jim Ellis Client Champion! John is a Technician at Porsche Atlanta Northeast, and he was nominated for this award in recognition of his resourcefulness and willingness to provide excellent service to help a person in need.
Since 2014, the Jim Ellis Client Champion award has been presented monthly to a team member who exemplifies what it means to deliver the Jim Ellis Promise. With more than 1,700 team members across the organization, being selected as a Client Champion is a true testament to an individual’s character, compassion, and dedication to service.
Here’s the story that led to John’s nomination:
During his shift, John Holland spotted a man across the street from the Porsche Atlanta Northeast dealership who appeared to be experiencing issues with his vehicle. When John approached he realized the man had a major problem: his car's trunk wouldn't open. This meant he couldn't get to his wheel lock to change a flat tire. Instead of simply offering advice or sending for help, John took action. He quickly took the client across the street to the dealership and personally assisted in removing the client's wheel lock. John didn't stop there. He also diagnosed the problem with the trunk and fixed it on the spot, all free of charge.
John’s actions perfectly reflect the spirit of the Jim Ellis Promise. He saw a person in a difficult situation and chose to go above and beyond, providing a solution with genuine care and expertise. By offering his assistance without hesitation — even when the customer wasn't on dealership property — he demonstrated remarkable kindness and professionalism. This selfless act turned a stressful situation into a moment of relief and trust, leaving a lasting impression on the client and reinforcing our commitment to service.
