At Jim Ellis Automotive Group, we believe a successful business is measured by more than just sales — it’s measured by the strength of the community it supports. That’s why we are thrilled to announce the results of our Ninth Annual Holiday Giving Campaign.

Thanks to our customers and dedicated team members, we presented a check for $80,000 to MUST Ministries.

A collective effort for our Georgia neighbors

Between Nov. 29 and Jan. 2, a portion of the profit from every new or pre-owned vehicle sold across our 21 dealerships was set aside for this mission. Whether you bought a vehicle during this period or have been a customer in the past, your support played a role in this donation.

Since the campaign’s inception, we have raised more than $525,000 for local charities. This year, our focus was on helping our Georgia neighbors navigate the challenges of poverty and homelessness.

"We are deeply grateful for Jim Ellis Automotive Group's support of MUST Ministries and our mission to help our neighbors in need," said MUST President & CEO Dr. Ike Reighard. "This significant contribution will feed families, house the homeless, help people obtain employment and so much more. As both MUST and Jim Ellis Automotive Group celebrate our organizations' 55th anniversaries this year, we are proud to partner with such a strong pillar of our community."

Where the impact happens

MUST Ministries has been a lifeline for the metro Atlanta community since 1971. This donation will aid MUST in meeting the needs of more than 55,000 people a year through physical locations and outreach programs that cover nine metro counties. Some of those ministries and services include:

  • Hope House (Marietta): These funds support the 136-bed shelter that provides safe nights of rest, warm meals through the Loaves and Fishes Community Kitchen, and a specialized winter weather shelter.
  • Client Services (Canton, Smyrna and Marietta): Support for centers where families access food pantries, clothing closets and employment assistance.
  • Mobile Pantries: Helping MUST deliver fresh produce and groceries to "food deserts" across five metro counties where families lack reliable transportation.
  • Healthcare and Workforce Development: Aiding the MUST Care Clinic on Cobb Parkway and career training programs that help residents find stable, long-term employment.

“At Jim Ellis Automotive Group, giving back to our community has always been part of who we are,” said Stacey Ellis Hodges, vice president of the Jim Ellis Automotive Group. “Our Holiday Giving Campaign is made possible by our customers, team members and partners who come together each year with a shared purpose, and we’re proud of the collective impact we can make as a result. Knowing that this donation will help provide food, housing, healthcare and other essential resources to thousands of individuals and families across metro Atlanta is incredibly meaningful to our entire organization. We’re honored to support MUST Ministries and the vital work they do every day to help our neighbors in need.”

Two milestones, one mission

The year 2026 is a special one for both of our organizations. As MUST and Jim Ellis Automotive Group both celebrate 55th anniversaries, this partnership feels more meaningful than ever.

We want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who visited a Jim Ellis dealership over the holidays. You didn't just buy a car, you helped fuel a movement of generosity across Georgia.
